About My K-pop List

Early Access: We're in the very early stages of development! Expect rough edges and frequent updates.

What is this?

My K-pop List is a personal tracking tool for K-pop fans. Think MyAnimeList, but for K-pop. Browse artists, favorite your favorites, and build a shareable profile that's all yours.

What makes this different?

  • Simple and focused - Track your favorites without unnecessary complexity
  • Your profile, your way - No algorithms pushing content, no follower counts to chase
  • Free to use - Simple tools should be accessible to everyone

How does this fit with other tools?

If you're into anime, you probably know MyAnimeList: a simple, organized way to track what you've watched. My K-pop List does the same thing for K-pop: clean lists, easy browsing, shareable profiles.

This complements (not replaces) the other ways you express your fandom:

  • Carrd - Perfect for creative self-expression with custom layouts and aesthetics. Link to your My K-pop List profile for the organized list of who you follow.
  • Twitter / X / Bluesky - For conversations and staying updated. Share your profile when someone asks about your favorites instead of typing out a list every time.
  • Wiki sites - For learning about artists, discographies, and history. We're just for tracking your favorites, not deep dives into every detail.

The Roadmap

  • Phase 1: Personal Profiles
    In Progress
    Now

Sign up, favorite artists, customize your profile, and share it with friends. The basics are here: browse artists, track your favorites, control your privacy.

  • Phase 2: Discovery & Collections
    After 100+ users

Collections to organize your favorites, activity feeds to see what's new, and better ways to discover artists. Basic search improvements and filters to find exactly what you're looking for.

  • Phase 3: Community Tools
    After 1,000+ users

Tools for fans who want to help keep artist information up to date. Better ways to suggest edits, verify changes, and contribute to the directory.

  • Phase 4: Your K-pop Story
    Future

Make your profile tell your story: concerts you've been to, merch you've collected, your bias rankings. Not just who you follow, but your actual journey as a fan.

Who's behind this?

Built and maintained by a solo developer who wanted a simple way to track K-pop favorites. Started as a personal project, now being shared with other fans who might find it useful.
